            The Arith Belt — math you play like an arcade.

            Mentaris: The Arith Belt is a synthwave space shooter where every wave is a math problem. Asteroids carry answers—you read the prompt in the HUD, fly your ship, and blast the rock that matches before decoys or timers beat you.

            What it is

            • Fast sessions that mix mental math with reflex and positioning.
            • Multiple operations (multiplication, addition, rationals, squares, and more) and modes (digit hunt, classic, stampede, and others).
            • Campaign runs, missions, ship roster, power-ups, and alien waves layered on top of the core loop.

            Why it exists

            • Make arithmetic practice feel like a reward loop—score, streaks, and ship upgrades—not a worksheet.
            • Give everyone a polished math arcade: quick bursts on the web or longer runs from a desktop install.
            • Coming next: Galactic leaderboards, co-op with friends, and fresh missions—all aimed at the same goal: learn math by flying it.
